Description
Here's my Evil-Lyn from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe!
The design is my take from a lot of different artists takes and the original show.

Location: Fanime 2014, Friday night
I'm sad that I didn't get to wear this for more than a few hours. I had a very busy weekend between graduation on Saturday and premiering three new cosplays!
That being said, it turned out really well but somethings to be redone, snaps added here and there maybe some repainting. I really want to build on this one.
The major issue I had was the ram horns around my boobs kept breaking (air dry clay is really brittle, don't use it do something high stress). So I am in the process of remaking those right now out of a different material.
I really wish I had like an extra week to make my staff but that also needs to still be made. Which I think I finally figured out my approach to.
Construction Notes:
Made from Purple stretch satin and 4 way metallic foil spandex. The boots are made from base heels, craftfoam, and satin hot glued on. The collar was the most difficult piece to make.
I first heat formed craftfoam and then used contact cement to add spandex over it. It was the same for the other silver pieces.
The helmet is made of craftfoam sandwiched between worbla. I built the base in four pieces connected them together and shaped it by hand. I built the crest thingy separately.
It was a lot of gesso and sanding from there. Then tons of spray paint.
The cape was single piece of velvet hemmed and then hand sewn on. I also hand sewed the collar on and the custom u-plunge bra I made into the leotard.
